Project 

Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link Southern Connection comprises viaducts linking North Lantau Highway on Lantau Island to the Boundary Crossing Facilities, and artificial island connected to Hong Kong International airport on Chek Lap Kok. Reinforced Earth® wall are used in three approach ramps and the total length is around 300m long.

Advantages

The Reinforced Earth® provided a rapid construction procedure and better quality control of materials and workmanship, as all the Reinforced Earth® components, inclusive of the steel reinforcement elements, precast concrete facing panels and accessories are prefabricated in a supervised factory environment.
